3. Digital Template Licensing (For Marketplace Buyers)

When Authorly is purchased as a template from the Framer Marketplace:

• You receive a personal or commercial license to use the template for your own website or your client’s website.

• You do not receive ownership—only a license to customize and publish.

You may use Authorly to:

• Build a personal author website

• Build a client website

• Replace content, design sections, and branding

You may NOT:

• Redistribute, resell, or share the original template files

• Claim the design as your own

• Use the template to create derivative templates for sale

• Share login or project access with unauthorized parties

4. User Responsibilities

You agree that:

• All information you add (books, blogs, events, etc.) is your responsibility

• You will not upload copyrighted content without permission

• You will maintain accuracy when publishing blog posts or event details

• You will not misuse the platform for illegal or harmful purposes

5. Payments & Refunds

If Authorly is purchased through Framer Marketplace:

• All payments are handled securely by Framer

• All sales are final, as digital templates cannot be returned

• Refunds are granted solely at Framer’s discretion (not Authorly’s)

For subscription-based features (if applicable), Framer's billing terms apply.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Authorly’s:

• Layouts

• Components

• Images (unless replaced by the user)

• Structure

• Branding

…are protected by copyright.

Users may customize, but may not:

• Reproduce

• Distribute

• Sell

• Claim copyright over the original template

7. Third-Party Integrations

Authorly may use:

• Framer CMS

• Embedded media

• External links (blogs, book platforms, social media, events)

Authorly is not responsible for:

• Availability of external websites

• Content accuracy on third-party links

• Any issue arising from third-party services

Use them at your own discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

Authorly (and its creator) will not be liable for:

• Data loss

• Website downtime

• Customization errors

• Third-party integration failures

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Template usage is entirely at the user’s own risk.
